These work great. I picked up the anise and shellfish at the NTA convention last year. I was skeptical when talked into buying them, Lesel asked if I had problems with mice stealing my bait and I had so I took the plunge on two packages. Worth every penny. You can put them on the triggers at home and be ready to set once you get into the field. I used some by themselves and some with cat food and had success on both. The coon can get them off and you can lose them but i have 10/12 of each pack left after 3 weeks of coon trapping. The only downside was sometimes when setting the trap the bait would slide to the edge of the tube and get caught when setting the trap. This was easily fixed by holding the trap so the bait didn’t fall off the trigger.
